PRR EFP-15 leaves Union Station with the Penn Texas
Title:  PRR EFP-15 leaves Union Station with the Penn Texas
Description:  PRR had 42 of these dual purpose FP-7s. Two A-B-A sets (but not these of course) were painted Tuscan red with stripes. If my notes are correct the 9845 had just been put into service having been delivered between April and August of 1952.

PRR 9846, EFP-15, c. 1962
Title:  PRR 9846, EFP-15, c. 1962
Description:  Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of (R to L) Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9846 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. Both are EFP-15's built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9846 was constructed in May of 1952. In this context, they're rockin' 'n' rollin' with a passenger train on a frigid Winter's day! The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. ("LouisFols"; #23 of 31)
