For the second year in a row, Historic Preservation Transport Inc. (also known as Steam Specials), ran a special photo charter with Pere Marquette 1225. This time however, the special was performed during the winter, a much more fun season to observe steam in. On February 16, 2008, the first day of the charter, dawn finds the 1225 heading south on the St. Charles branch several miles north of Henderson, performing the first runby of the day. |
