Description:
Here is a photo via Joseph Lavelle that was taken in Long Island City, New York, on 28 March 1920. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #288, a B-4A (0-6-0) switcher built in the Altoona Machine Shops during November of 1893, renumbered "0288" in October of 1916, and sold to Luria Brothers in June of 1922. Partially visible at the far right is Long Island Rail Road engine #191, a B-53 (0-6-0) switcher built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works about 1905. Williams Collection.
