Originally built by the Alco-Rhode Island Locomotive Company as Wabash-Pittsburgh Terminal #2208 in August of 1906, it eventually merged into the Wabash roster as #548. Specs - serial #41178, class B-7, 52" drivers, 185 psi boiler pressure, 21x26" cylinders, engine weight of 154,040 lb, tractive effort of 34,673 lb. The loco was scrapped in August of 1950. No date, location or photographer was listed for the photo. |
