Louisiana Eastern 0-6-0’s 23 and 22 were resting between assignments at the gravel pit in Shiloh, Louisiana. The locos were former Texas & Pacific 478 and 472, built by Alco’s Cooke Works in January 1923 and December 1922. Both were scrapped here in September 1962. |
