Sitting in the Conway, PA, yard after its retirement on 3/16/1981 is this Alco C425 unit. Note the hasty renumbering that took place just before retirement. Originall built by Alco in February of 1965 as PRR #2425, it then served as PC 2425 and then on to CR 2425 before becoming CR 5063. Conrail conductor Ken Taylor captured the retired unit. |
