Built by Alco in February of 1965 as PRR 2422, it became PC 2422 on the merger of PRR & NYC. Then when PC collapsed, it became CR 2422 and finally just before retirement it was renumbered 5062, Retirement came on 12/22/1980. The photo was taken by Conrail conductor Ken Taylor in the Conway, PA, yard. |
