Nice close view of the Burnham, Wms & Co (Baldwin) 2-10-2 steam locomotive built in November of 1903. Serial #23424 compound cylinders (19&32X32 inch) 57" drivers, rebuilt to simple in 1921 at San Bernardino with 28X32 cylinders, retaining the 57" drivers. The loco lasted until being scrapped at the Albuquerque Shops on 11/13/1948. It's boiler however went to ATSF #3016. No date was listed for the photo so an approximate one was used. C.C.
