Description:  Original built as C&O #838, this 1917 Alco-Schenectady "Mallet Mogul" sits in an unidentified yard. These monsters were slow moving but powerful locomotives primarily used for long coal drags in West Virginia and Kentucky. Specs - serial #57021, H-4, 56.5" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 22x32" high pressure cylinders, 35x32" low pressure cylinders, engine weight of 435,000 lb, tractive effort of 93,600 lb.
