Constructed as part of a thirteen unit order in 1968, this locomotive was purchased by the New Jersey Department of Transportation for the passenger operations of the Central Railroad of New Jersey. Built as CNJ 3680, this unit was originally classified as a GP40P, was rebuilt twice in its lifetime, and is now a GP40PH-2. This locomotive has served its entire existance for a New Jersey based rail operation. |
