I took this photo on my way home from a long bike ride, all the way from Downtown to the chain of Rocks Bridge. Since I love taking photos of trains, I decided to shoot a few MetroLinks before I got on mine back to North Hanley. This was also before I even knew about photo harassment on transit systems. I dont even remember if any guards were there but nothing was said to me. Car 2006 is shown here crossing the Eads Bridge and entering the interlocking on the Missouri side just before arriving at the Lacledes Landing Station. She is taking a Blue Line Train to Shrewsbury, MO. |

On a late July afternoon, MetroLink Car 2006 leads Car 4016 with a westbound Red Line train towards Lambert Airport. It is traveling on the former Wabash Railroads UD line, and is about to cross North Market Street after leaving Rock Road Station, which is seen in the background. Also visible is the St. Charles Rock Road overpass near the station. |
