Description:  The orange, black, and yellow family colors of Genesee & Wyoming Industries brighten up a cold and snowy winter day in the Ohio Valley as CIND 2001 and CIND 2342 (ex-PIR 2342) roll northbound on the I&O Blue Ash Subdivision engine lite, headed to switch industries on the north end of the Blue Ash Sub. Power sharing between the I&O and CIND has led to this pair of CIND units being frequently assigned to the Blue Ash Local.

Description:  Before we went home, I wanted to stop at Valley Junction, OH. A spot along the CIND/I&O joint yard just outside of Cleves OH. Id never been to Valley so I wanted to see if there possibly a CIND or I&O engine parked in the yard. I wasnt dissapointed. Sitting with a string of gondolas was CINDs Genset unit No. 2001.
