Description:  Here is a photo by Arthur B. Johnson that was taken in East Saint Louis, Illinois, on 9 September 1937. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5487, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during November of 1927 and retired in October of 1956. Partially visible at the right is PRR engine #6777, an M-1A (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Lima Locomotive Works in March of 1930 and retired in January of 1957. Gary Mittner Collection.
