Description:  The 33 locos of the Ce 6/8 II lot had been delivered as no. 14251 to 14283 in the years 1921-1922 to run passenger and freight trains on the Gotthard route. They had been equipped with their typical bar-drive with a flywheel at the outer end to reduce vibrations.

Description:  The 1919 built Ce 6/8 II on her "jaunt" during the moving day of the historic equipment at Erstfeld depot. The 126 t three part casing construction developes 2688 kW / 3654 hp and was nicknamed Crocodile. In (1'C)(C'1) wheel arrangement it was used in freight operation on the Gotthard route.
