This photo appears to be la proud engineer standing by his newly delivered F3A unit. According to one source, this was the only passenger locomotive ever owned by the Atlanta & St Andrews Bay RR. Built by EMD in June of 1947, it was rebuilt to an F9A in January of 1955. Finally it was a trade-in for new GP39 #507 delivered in July of 1970. No date, location or photographer was listed. |
