Description:  Atlanta & West Point GP40 #727 was built July 1968 and later became CSX #6647 before leaving roster and going to Progress Rail. Train #208 was the daily Montgomery (AL) to Atlanta train that worked intermediate yards along its run. It is slowing to a stop to make a set-off and pick-up and the crew is looking over the yard tracks (including the Chattahoochee Valley yard and interchange tracks)

Description:  727 is leading SCL train 277 at Barnwell, SC in 1980. It was common to see run through power on this train and its east bound counter part 278. The tracks at this location are removed. CSX abandoned a large section of this route in the late 1980s.
