Album Info:Western Maryland had a fairly large roster of GP's and most went on to serve the Chessie System with some even reaching CSX. These are a group of b&w photos of some of the WM GP's. Unfortunately almost all had no location or date identified on the back.

WM 35 - Western Maryland
Title:  WM 35 - Western Maryland
Description:  Another high nosed EMD GP7 sits in the sun in Rutherford, PA. It was another of the high nosed EMD GP9's delivered in June of 1956. The diesel went on to served the Chessie System after the merger as # 6410 before finally being traded back to EMD in 1984.

Title:  WM 21 - Western Maryland
Description:  This high nose GP7 was delivered to the WM in March of 1950. It served both the WM Rwy and the Chessie System (as #5633) before being traded back to EMD in 1984. Date of the photo is approximate.

Description:  Here's another high nosed GP7 delivered by EMD in March of 1950 which served Western Maryland before being absorbed by the Chessie System in 1973. It continued as Chessie #5634 before being donated to a railroad museum in Pittsburgh in 1986. Date of the photo is approximate.
