Album Info:Winthrop Harbor is a very relaxing spot to watch trains. There also aren't many there. I found out through a long, boring weight that UP trains apparently don't run on the Union Pacific North route at all. Also, most of the trains terminate at Waukegan, so only a few get up here and to Kenosha. If you ever do get here, though, parking is free on Saturdays - at least, the police officer who was in the parking lot while I was didn't say anything about me not paying! (Given that all the other spaces were empty, I'd say there's no reason to charge on a weekend.)
