Album Info:I now reside in the infamous area of The Junction, Toronto. It finds me down the street from Lambton Yard and close to the Junction of CP Galt (West), MacTier CP (North) and North Toronto sub to the East. My shots are HDR on my Android smart phone. THe ex-CN Weston sub also runs North and South here but has been taken over by Metrolinx with an onsloaught of Passeneger trains. A CN local comes down the Weston into CP Lambton yard in the middle of the night. Back in the day this was a hub of activity from both railroads, hence the name 'The Junction'. As well CN ran North and South East of on the 'Newmarket sub' also a host of Metrolinx GO Transit trains nowadays.

Description:  Here is the old Turntable semi-preserved at the North side of Lambton Yard in the parking lot of Rona where it once resided. Description:  A pile of BNSF units have been appearing on CP tracks lately and apparently on CN as well. This is my first capture of one due to the Weather as of late and hppened to be crossing Osler when the gates went down! I was a DPU on Container train 113 heading off the North Toronto sub up the MacTier to the Vaughan Intermodal Yard. Somhow when the signals went on somehow I new a BNSF would be on it and was prepared to snap it.

Description:  Osler St, Toronto heading up the Mactier for its first stop at Vaughan Intermodal from Montreal to Coquitlam,BC. this s a 2 mile long train. Head end unit(s), DPU and tail end unit. Needless to say, here at Osler, one of two grade crossings on the CP North Toronto sub in Toronto, the cars end up turning around!
