NKP 0-6-0 #71 - Nickel Plate Road
Title:  NKP 0-6-0 #71 - Nickel Plate Road
Description:  Nice sturdy example of a 1918 Lima built 0-6-0 yard switcher. According to the info on the back of the photo, this was the 2nd #71 on the roster. It was renumbered snd #395 (2nd one) in December, 1950, stored in March of 1951, and findally sold to Luntz Iron & Steel on August 29, 1951 for scrap. Specs - 57" drivers, 180 psi boiler pressure, 21x28" cylinders, engine weight of 173,000 lb, tractive effort of 33,150 lb. Unknown photographer.

Description:  built by Lima in 1918 for the Nickel Plate Road (New York, Chicago & St. Louis RR), this sturdy yard switcher was the 2nd #75 on the NKP roster. It was finally sold to the Luntz Iron & Steel Co in 9/8/1950 for scrap. Specs - 57" drivers, 180 psi boiler pressure, 21x28" cylinders, engine weight of 173,000 lb, tractive effort of 33,150 lb. Unknown photographer.
