Description:  Detail shot of the front headlight on BJRY SW9 900. Note that instead of the typical vertical orientation of two sealed beam lamps commonly found on an SW9. this is an older NW2 style "golden glow" headlight converted to sealed beams, with two lamps mounted horizontally. Note also the "BU50" lettering barely discernible in the number board. We believe that this headlight came off of IHB slug BU50, which was rebuilt from an NW2.

Description:  This underpass below the BNSF (former NP) near Spiritwood ND is one of the few tangible remains of the grandly named Midland Continental Railroad. Envisioned as a transcontinental line from Winnipeg, Manitoba to Galveston, Texas, the MICO quit after laying 77 miles of track in North Dakota and was abandoned in 1966.
