Reading GP7 #610 sits across the turntable at the Saucon Reading Yard in Bethlehem, PA. Built by EMD in May of 1953 (serial #18410), the unit served the Reading until it was eventually merged into Conrail in 1976. This loco is new to the RRPA data base. The photo is by Paul Kuehner. I believe this roundtable was salvaged in 2002 and may be part of the Reading RR Heritage Museum in Hamburg, PA. Can anyone confirm this? |
